Do I need a male and a female?

No. This species is all female and reproduces on its own, so one animal slowly becomes a small colony.

Does it make noise?

Yes, soft chirps at night. Audible in a quiet bedroom but nothing like a house gecko outside.

Can I handle it?

Not really. They are tiny, extremely fast and drop their tails easily. Great to watch, not to hold.

Is it a good starter lizard?

Yes, one of the easiest and cheapest we sell. Small insects, a simple planted tank, and they get on with it.
