The numbers
Temperature
The cool side, 24–26°C, dropping to 23–25°C at night. This sheet states the cool side only. It gives no warm side or basking figure, so the hot end is not in our data. Same scale on every sheet here, so two species compare by eye.
The sheet statescool 24-26 °C / night 23-25 °C
Humidity
The sheet statesaverage between 65-90%
UVB

Identity
Morphs
11 morphs, with how each one is inherited. 1 of them carry a documented welfare cost, and those are listed first. A morph list that hides this sells a pattern and says nothing about what it costs the animal.
Enclosure and conditions
What your climate adds
This sheet states a range to hold. Your local climate decides how much work holding it is. Pick the nearest city: nothing is sent anywhere, the choice stays in this browser.
Diet
Feeding rhythm
Twenty-eight days, one row. Each band is a meal window. This sheet states a figure for each age, so each age has its row.
Why
The windows widen as they go because the interval is a range: four meals after a 10–14 day cycle land anywhere between day 40 and day 56. A young animal's row is drawn only where the sheet gives one: working it out by dividing the adult interval would be inventing a ration.
The sheet statesAfrican soft-furred rats, domestic rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, quail, pheasants, pigeons, chickens, ducks, piglets, lambs, goat kids, Reptilinks; Hatchlings (<1 year old) — every 7 days; Juveniles (1-2 years old) — every 1-2 weeks; Subadults (2-4 years old) — every 2-3 weeks; Adults (>4 years old) — every 4-6 weeks
Good to know
- The longest snake in the world: reliably over 6 m, occasionally near 7 m.
Common questions
How big does this actually get?
This is the longest snake in the world. A mainland female can pass five metres and needs a custom-built enclosure, not a shop tank.
Be honest with me, is it dangerous?
Yes. A full-grown one is strong enough to seriously injure or kill an adult person, so it must never be handled alone and never around children.
Are the dwarf ones really smaller?
Yes, the island dwarf and super dwarf lines stay considerably shorter, and that is what we recommend for anyone keeping one at home. They are still powerful snakes.
What does it cost to feed?
Hatchlings are cheap, but an adult eats large rodents or rabbits and can easily run over a thousand baht a month. Plan for the adult, not the baby.
What it needs
Every line above is deduced from a value this sheet states, and names which one. Nothing here is a general recommendation. What the sheet does not state is listed too, rather than left out: a kit that looks complete is worse than one that names its gap.

What this sheet states
This sheet states 4 of 7 of the fields this product runs on. What is missing turns something off: enclosure size audit, day/night engine and awake count on the globe, the diet section. We show the gap rather than fill it with a plausible number.
UVB is measured but does not count: it is absent from 421 of 678 sheets, and on most of them that is not a gap, since a nocturnal snake's sheet has no reason to state a UV index. Counting it would call the library incomplete without cause.
